The Movie & Music Exchange won "Best Music Store" in the 2011 Virginian Pilot "Best of Hampton Roads" contest. We were also voted runner-up in the "Best Movie Store" category. Our parent store, The Book Exchange has been next door for over seven years and naturally gave birth to The Movie & Music Exchange in late 2010.

How It Works: DVD's sell for $8 each or 3 for $21. VHS, CD's & Vinyl sell for $5 each or 3 for $12. We give half this amount in trade credit for the items you bring in that we accept. We're always happy to look at what you want to trade at any time. Our trade policy is customer friendly. There are no hidden fees and you can use your credit from The Movie & Music Exchange &/or The Book Exchange toward the purchase of anything in either store at any time.

Very convenient to the cities of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Newport News, Hampton and Williamsburg. We are located in Wards Corner, which is at the intersection of Granby Street and Little Creek Road. Look for our signs (pictured above) in the shopping center located behind the BP Gas Station.
Directions: From Va. Beach- I-64W toward Hampton/Richmond, take Little Creek Rd. exit (276C), take a left onto Little Creek Rd. & go .3 miles, We are in the shopping center on the right behind the BP gas station.
Directions: From Naval Station Norfolk- take Hampton Blvd south to W. Little Creek Rd., take a left onto W. Little Creek Rd & go 2 miles, you will see a BP gas station, look behind the BP and you will see us.
Directions: From ODU- take Hampton Blvd north approximately 2 miles, take a right onto W. Little Creek Rd & go 2 miles, you will see a BP gas station, look behind the BP and you will see us.
Directions: From Downtown Norfolk- take Granby St. (460E) approximately 5 miles. At the major intersection with Little Creek Rd. you will see a BP gas station, look behind the BP and you will see us.
Directions: From Richmond/Williamsburg- I-64E toward Norfolk, take the Granby St./US-460 exit(276), merge onto US-460 W. Granby St. toward VA-165/Little creek Rd., go 0.4 miles, turn LEFT onto E. Little Creek Rd., We are in the shopping center on the left behind the BP gas station.
